Our body’s energy and Bioelectric Meridian Therapy

Muscular figure glowing with energy, surrounded by lightning-like patterns symbolising BMT's revitalising effects. Title: Energetic silhouette empowered by Bioelectric Meridian Therapy.

Have you ever wondered about the electrifying power within your own body? In a fascinating article published by New Scientist, The amazing ways electricity in your body shapes you and your health, they delve into the concept that electricity in your body shapes who you are. It’s a captivating notion that highlights the incredible role electricity plays in our everyday lives.

From the moment we wake up to the time we go to sleep, our bodies are constantly buzzing with electrical activity. This electrical energy flows through our nervous system allowing us to move, think, and feel. It is this very electricity that shapes our physical and mental capabilities.

Electrical signals and how they affect human behaviour

The New Scientist article explores how this intricate network of electrical signals influences various aspects of our lives. It delves into topics such as how electric currents shape our personalities, affect our emotions, and even impact our decision-making processes. By understanding the underlying mechanisms of electricity within us, scientists are unlocking new insights into human behaviour and cognition.

Furthermore, the article highlights ground breaking research that harnesses this electric power for medical advancements. From brain stimulation techniques to prosthetic limbs controlled by neural impulses, scientists are using electricity to reshape lives and redefine what it means to be human.

Where Bioelectric Meridian Therapy plays a role

Bioelectric Meridian Therapy (BMT) is a revolutionary technique using the body’s natural bioelectricity to improve general wellbeing, organ health and promote functional movement.

Bioelectric Meridian Therapy uses a low frequency electrical device that mimics the body’s bioelectric rhythm. The device generates a small electrical signal which is transferred to the body through a practitioner’s hands or directly through self-care instruments. The touch of the therapist, along with the bioelectric energy and ABMMA’s specially formulated high alkaline cream, assists with unblocking the body’s main meridian pathways – supercharging the natural healing process.

Trillions of cells in your body equate to its own tiny battery

“If we can control or correct this bioelectricity, the implications for our health are remarkable.”

Science journalist Sally Adee outlines that, “Every cell in our bodies – bones, skin, nerves, muscle – has a voltage, like a tiny battery. This bioelectricity is why our brains can send signals to our bodies, why we develop the way we do in the womb and how our bodies know to heal themselves from injury. When bioelectricity goes awry, illness, deformity and cancer can result.”

“But if we can control or correct this bioelectricity, the implications for our health are remarkable: an undo switch for cancer that could flip malignant cells back into healthy ones; the ability to regenerate cells, organs, even limbs; to slow ageing and so much more,” said Ms Adee.

Bioelectrical activity and the world around us

Sally Adee continues to explain, “the “electrome” isn’t just a human phenomenon. Bioelectrical activity predates nervous systems, mammals and even the animal kingdom. It is found in fungi and plants, and bacteria display electric signals that look like the oscillations found in the human brain. These appear to enable individual bacteria to cooperate to form biofilms and help them distribute nutrients. Learning how to disrupt these signals could help solve problems associated with bacteria, including antibiotic resistance,” she explains.

“Understanding the ancient and pervasive nature of bioelectricity will also give new insight into life itself and help us harness its powers to change the world around us. This is already happening, from the development of biorobots made of natural materials like frog cells to the creation of living architecture, such as fungus-based walls that can use bioelectric signals to sense pollution. We can’t even begin to comprehend what progress it may spark in the future,” said Ms Adee.

The health benefits of Bioelectric Meridian Therapy

Using the body’s natural bioelectricity stimulates nerves and cells and increases Qi flow (energy). This can lead to improved blood circulation and immune system benefits. The process of Bioelectric Meridian Therapy also helps to regulate and alkalise the body’s natural pH level. The therapy can improve digestion and maintain good health.

BMT is used to improve general health and functionality in the body, through:

  • Nervous system stimulation
  • Prevent disharmony and imbalances in the body
  • Stimulate sluggish organs
  • Improve functionality and mobility
  • Decrease pain
  • Soothe aching muscles
  • Increase metabolism for weight loss and increased energy
  • Anti-aging, can smooth skin and wrinkles
  • Beauty, toning & slimming
  • And so much more!
