Endometriosis is a common problem and it is said that 1 in every 10 women live with this condition, mostly unknown to them. More often than not, a misdiagnosis or a completely incorrect diagnosis further worsens the problem. Endometriosis is a painful condition to live with and makes life hard for the women who constantly experience it.

Endometriosis is a uterine condition wherein tissues grow in linings where they are normally not supposed to. Such tissues if growing in abnormal places such as the brain, lungs and even surgical tissues etc are known as ectopic tissues. These tissues may induce the release of certain chemicals from nearby cells. This causes pelvic cramps in women.

Rarely has endometriosis, in all its stages of severity, been discovered beyond the pelvic region. Even within the pelvis, it has been discovered mostly around the Fallopian Tubes and the ovaries. The most severe stage of this condition leads to infertility, though even that is a rare occurrence. Endometriosis is generally associated with painful intercourse in women, pain prior to menstruation and irritable bowel movements.

Bioelectric Meridian Massage Therapy (BMMT) In the Aid of Endometriosis

Conventional medicine falls short of absolute treatment for the eradication of endometriosis. It usually focuses on removal of symptoms via surgery and medication. Rarely is the root cause ever addressed.

The possible alternative to conventional western practice of endometriosis treatment is Bioelectric Meridian Massage Therapy. This procedure has been known to relieve most painful symptoms associated with endometriosis. Further, the root of this condition is addressed over the duration of this therapy.

What Are The Benefits Associated With BMMT?

BMMT is already renowned as an effective technique to reduce painful symptoms of most disorders. It is absolutely free of drugs of any kind and is hence considered safe. Its effects on general health are already known. This is how it works:

  • It stimulates the nervous system for better relay of nerve impulse messages.
  • Stimulates the lymphatic network for better functioning of your immune system.
  • Stimulates slow and sluggish organs to work at an optimal rate.
  • Decreases pain situated in localized areas (especially pertinent to the pelvic areas in the case of endometriosis).
  • Rejuvenates skin for a more youthful glow.
  • Soothes ache accumulated in muscles as well as relieves muscle “knots” formed due to increased tension over some time.
  • Improves general functionality and mobility for a more soothing and relaxed body movement.

All these benefits mentioned make BMMT a suitable technique to improve endometriosis conditions.

How It Works For Endometriosis: What Can You Expect?

During BMMT, small flat adhesive pads are applied to the area of prospective treatment (your pelvis, for example). Low current pulses are then applied subject to treatment dosage. Your body’s reaction to those pulses is monitored and the treatment can be further regulated by the therapist.

The treatment lasts about an hour. You should only feel a light tingling sensation. Inform your practitioner of any discomfort.
