ABMMA’s origins
ABMMA’s story starts with a struggle when our founder faced a debilitating physical impairment that resisted traditional physiotherapy chiropractic treatments. Frustrated but determined, Tracy Taulier sought alternative solutions and discovered Bioelectric Meridian Therapy (BMT).
This advanced therapy combines electrical stimulation, gentle massage, and therapeutic creams to address deep-seated physical issues.
Tracy restored full mobility after. This life-altering experience raised the critical question of how a therapy performed without the involvement of trained medical practitioners could resolve an issue that had persisted for years. Inspired by the potential of this modality, ABMMA was born with a vision to bring BMT’s healing capabilities to Australia and beyond.
Setting the safety and quality standard
Australia’s medical equipment market is one of the most highly regulated globally, with rigorous safety standards to protect practitioners and clients. Initially, ABMMA planned to use devices supplied by the original manufacturer of BMT equipment. However, upon closer inspection, these devices proved rudimentary, lacking essential safety features, and potentially hazardous in clinical settings. Despite our efforts to collaborate, the manufacturer declined to make necessary improvements.
Faced with a choice, ABMMA refused to compromise. While other clinics continued to use uncertified and potentially unsafe devices, ABMMA designed its own. Partnering with Australian electronic engineers, we developed the ABMMA PRO, a BMT device built with medical-grade components and equipped with advanced safety features.
The result? The ABMMA PRO is the only TGA-approved BMT device in Australia.
TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) approval is a testament to our commitment to quality and safety.
