Case Study Purpose
At ABMMA we believe Bioelectric Meridian Therapy improves blood health and the body’s tissues at the cellular level. We conducted a trial to examine the effects of BMT on blood health and circulation by reviewing a patient’s blood cell level before and after a series of BMT sessions. The results are outlined in this case study.
The purpose of this case study was to review the effects of BMT on:
1 – Promoting blood circulation
Bioelectric energy penetrates deep into the body system altering blood flow velocity. The stimulation reduces blood viscosity, improves micro-circulation, and increases oxygenations of cells.
2 – Activating blood cells
Bioelectricity has the potential to energise blood cells and release toxins from the body. It assists the transfer of electrons in the Krebs Cycle and generate Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) in mitochondria. ATP is a product of glycolysis and Krebs Cycle (a chain of chemical reaction). When the energy is used, ATP converts to Adenosine Diphosphate (ADP), a chemical that can then be recharged with energy though the Krebs Cycle to become ATP again – like a rechargeable battery.
Our bodies can’t heal themselves if we don’t have enough energy to convert the raw materials from our food (such as protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, minerals and others) into new cells. This is why it is important to understand the relationship of bioelectricity at a cellular level and how exactly, Bioelectric Meridian Therapy can support healthy blood flow circulation and general wellbeing.
The test
Our trial was conducted over a 2 week period, with no change to the patient’s diet or lifestyle. Working with a naturopath, we began our trial period with a Hemaview test before any Bioelectric Meridian Therapy sessions began.

The naturopath’s report provided the following insights:
- The red blood cells are grouped together, mild rouleaux. The appearance of rouleaux slows down the ability for these cells to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and organs around the body. This presentation occurs when the patient is under stress, has inflammation and is dehydrated.
- The red blood cell walls are slightly irregular in shape, size, and thickness. This is indicating nutritionally the cells are deficient in nutrients, anti-oxidants and are dehydrated.
- The appearance of a halo inside the red blood cell indicates one of two things. Dehydration of the cell and iron deficiency especially if the size of the red cell is smaller than average.
- The chylomicrons (fats/cholesterol) are within normal parameters.
- The white blood cells, neutrophiles and lymphocytes, are mature in size and the cytoplasm within the cells is active indicating a strong immune system.
The conclusion of the naturopath’s report was that the patient indicated signs of stress, inflammation, dehydration, low Iron and antioxidant levels.
Within the trial period, we conducted three routine BMT back sessions with no additional external supplements taken by the patient.
We then returned to the naturopath for a comparison Hemaview test.
The results
Results of a second Hemaview test exactly two weeks later, after the trial, showed a positive effect of the Bioelectric Meridian Therapy on the patient’s blood health.

The naturopath’s report revealed that the patient’s red blood cells appeared stronger, although the different size of the cells indicated a low level of iron. The red blood cells had separated indicating the level of inflammation and stress has reduced since the previous test. The benefit is that this will enable the blood cells to pick up and deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and organs around the body.
Halo’s within the red blood cells are still present indicating the patient would benefit from an increase in iron rich foods into the diet plus an iron supplement. The patient’s Chylomicrons were within normal parameters and the white blood cells, both neutrophiles and lymphocytes, were strong and mature and appeared normal.
Conclusion
What this trial found was a noticeable improvement within two weeks of the reduction of inflammation within the patient’s red blood cells and an improvement on blood health. The patient still requires an improvement in their hydration by drinking at least 2 litres of water daily. Iron-rich foods are to be encouraged in the diet along with Iron supplements to speed up the deficiency.
This trial was a significant indication that Bioelectric Meridian Therapy is an effective modality for reducing inflammation and supporting the body to heal itself naturally.
